Chris has a real passion for animals

We use the kennel as Chris has a real passion for animals. He obviously cares for the animals and the kennel is kept in great condition. When we leave our dog at Four Paws we have peace of mind that she will be well looked after.

We trust Four Paws with our beloved pooch every time we go on holidays. Chris and his team go to every effort to make sure she is very well looked after – we know because she is never very keen to come home with us after a stay at Four Paws! We couldn’t recommend Four Paws highly enough.

We were incredibly grateful

Chris cared for, fed and played with our kitten and cat for a two week period this summer and did a sterling job. He also went above and beyond, for which we were incredibly grateful. We will certainly use his services again and would recommend him to all local pet owners.

Chris did a great job

Chris did a great job whilst we were away on holiday for 3 weeks. On our return our 10 month old cat was in a fit, healthy and playful mood! Chris’ relaxed attitude put us at ease allowing us to enjoy our holiday in peace. We will definitely be using him again!

Toby looked relaxed and happy

We came across Four Paws when looking online as our usual kennel was full. I read the reviews and was happy to give it a go. We dropped our 2.5 year old Lab Toby off in the morning, he didn’t even look backwards when he walked off with Chris. I arrived to collect Toby early this morning and was happy to wait in the car until opening time, but Chris spotted me and was happy for me to come in early. The kennels were quiet and Toby looked relaxed and happy and very comfortable in Chris’s company. Chris put him in the car for me and had even adjusted Toby’s loose collar which showed me that he paid attention to Toby. My hubby and I discussed this morning that we would definitely use Four Paws again

I wouldn’t leave my dogs anywhere else

Four Paws, as in the title I wouldn’t leave my dogs anywhere else. The location of the kennels is easy to find and in a beautiful location. Chris the owner is a man of few words but clearly knows his business without doubt. My terriers are vary wary of strangers but they took to him instantly, for me that speaks volumes. They are without doubt very well looked after, you just know that when you leave your dog/s here that they are safe and you can enjoy your holiday without any worries. Would I recommend Four Paws, you bet I would.

We were delighted

We were delighted with the service offered by Chris, he clearly has a great way with animals. Our Labradoodle, Dixie seemed in great shape when we picked her up and had obviously eaten the correct amount and had plenty of exercise. We will definitely be using Chris again.

Our little dog stayed with Chris recently when we had to go away for a week. We knew that he would be in good hands because of Chris’ extensive experience with animals, and this was definitely the case. When we got back, it was quite obvious that our dog had been well looked after and exercised regularly. We will have no hesitation in using Chris again when we next have to go away.

I cannot recommend Chris highly enough! I called upon Chris’ services when I was due to go into labour and needed someone to look after my Dachshund, Nero. Chris couldn’t have been more accommodating considering I was unable to give him an exact date and he put my mind at ease when I was concerned about having to dash off in the night! It was such a relief knowing I didn’t have to worry about Nero being cared for. As it turned out I had to stay in hospital for a week but again this was no problem for Chris who collected more food for Nero and gave me updates on how he was getting on.

Since having the baby Chris has been more than helpful going out of his way to provide me with information on how to socialise Nero with the baby so we are a happy family unit. When Nero returned from his stay with Chris, he was a happy well-adjusted dog who accepted our new addition without any problems. I know I always have Chris to call on should this ever change and Nero will always have a home from home when we go on holiday.

We’ll be sure to use them again

We have a diabetic cat who can quite often be difficult to look after, because she is wary of strangers and has to be injected twice a day with insulin. Four Paws was the best cattery stay she’s ever had: there was never any trouble and they handled the injections (and the cat!) with ease. We’ll be sure to use them again whenever we need to go away and I wholeheartedly recommend them!

When we came back she was happy and healthy

We were a little nervous about leaving our quite shy cat for two weeks for the first time but Chris did a great job looking after her. When we came back she was happy and healthy and had obviously been looked after well. We would definitely recommend Chris to our friends.
